Getting Involved

Lector Ministry

The only requirement for the Lector Ministry is that you be comfortable with reading in public. Lectors will be given the 'Workbook for Lectors/Readers' at the beginning of each liturgical year. You must review the appropriate material prior to your assigned Mass. In the Workbook are pronunciations, hints on what works should be emphasized and how to use your voice to bring the meaning to your fellow parishioners. As a Lector, you are the proclaimer of God's word to our congregation.
